UHF is most commonly used in short track/oval track environments with line of site. It's also optimal when race conditions present obstacles such as buildings, structures, hills, etc. VHF may be preferred in longer course environments where line of site to the vehicle is lost or you need to transmit/receive over longer distances. This Long Track NASCAR Upgrade Kit converts your Rugged Radios Short Track Kit for long range performance where distance and radio performance are more critical factors for your team.
This kit includes a long range vehicle antenna and long range headset antenna which dramtically improves radio range and performance.
This is not compatible with the RDH16 radio.
